The Wine Tipster has over three decades’ experience in the wine industry and has been the Prosecco DOC Ambassador for the UK since 2015.

As an esteemed wine expert and Prosecco DOC Ambassador, The Wine Tipster hosts regular in-person and virtual Masterclasses and Tasting Sessions with Wine Schools, at food festivals, and for corporate events throughout the UK.

He has worked alongside chefs such as Danilo Cortellini, Raymond Blanc OBE, Michel Roux Jr, and Francesco Mazzei, among others, to bring exciting food pairings to the wine-drinking experience. This includes an ongoing partnership with Grana Padano PDO as the perfect accompaniment to Prosecco DOC Aperitivo Time.

Taste of London

The Taste of London Food Festival takes place over five days in June each year in Regents Park, and is a brilliant show to present at with a consistently fantastic audience.

The Wine Tipster has presented Prosecco DOC and Grana Padano PDO masterclasses since 2015 at the festival, highlighting why Prosecco DOC wines and Grana Padano are a perfect pairing.

He has also presented at the festival with Saturday Kitchen chef Danilo Cortellini since 2015, with Cortellini creating some delicious dishes using Grana Padano with the Prosecco DOC wines.

An array of guests joined the sessions including in 2023 Leyla Kazim, Cooking with Bello and Anna Barnett. This year in 2024 The Wine Tipster will be back presenting at this brilliant show.

Prosecco Caffé

The Prosecco DOC Consortium is the official partner of the Prosecco Caffé. The Caffe can be found in the Stratford East Shopping Centre, with a second location opening in September 2023. Prosecco DOC have held media events including Prosecco DOC cocktails, food and Prosecco DOC, which The Wine Tipster presented at.

Glass of Bubbly Sustainability Summit

The Wine Tipster was the MC for the 2023 Prosecco DOC Sustainability Summit Panel of which Prosecco DOC were delighted to be the headline sponsor. He also presented two masterclasses at the event.

The Wine Tipster delivered a fascinating masterclass about the wonderful world of Prosecco DOC, providing an insight into the history, the making and of course what makes Prosecco DOC so special. There was even a Battle of the Food Pairings competition.

In addition to presenting The Wine Tipster regularly shares his expertise with students of the Wine and Spirit Education Trust presenting a Prosecco DOC annually at The WSET London School.

He also provides masterclasses and taster sessions for trade and media audiences such as with Chef & Restaurant Magazine, as a judge for the annual Glass of Bubbly Awards and The Caterer Product Excellence Awards.

His articles have featured in national publications such as; Red Magazine, Mirror Online, Great British Life, and The Jockey Club as their resident sommelier.

As the Prosecco DOC Ambassador he is the media spokesperson for the UK, and as such has been quoted in a number of national publications also including, The Independent Online.

Where else can you find The Wine Tipster?

In September 8^th and 9^th our Prosecco DOC will be at The Oxford Wine Festival as the headline sponsor featuring a masterclass and tasting table with a dozen different producers.

The Wine Tipster presented Prosecco DOC masterclasses at the National Geographic Travellers Food Festival 2023 for the first time featuring Prosecco DOC whites and roses, whilst explaining the story behind Prosecco DOC including the two regions for production are Veneto and Friuli-Venezia Giulia respectively,  which are beautiful to visit too.

Also in 2023 The Wine Tipster has presented Prosecco DOC masterclasses at the Cheltenham Food & Drink Festival, Chippenham Food & Drink Festival.

During National Prosecco Week from August 6^th – 13^th National Prosecco Day he will present at Soho House, Obica and at Brightsmith on the Water at the Hilton Metropole in Birmingham.
