Neil Phillips, The Wine Tipster is a popular presenter and speaker who “makes wine make sense” in a fun, informative style with useful tips which help bring the world of wine to life for people with all levels of wine knowledge.
The Wine Tipster is the Wine Ambassador for the very popular Taste of London and Taste of Christmas shows, where he also organises the Best in Taste Wine Awards for the Regents Park event. In 2012, Neil is once again Master of Ceremonies at the VIP Party, presenting at Taste of London and, for the first time, presenting at Taste of Edinburgh.
Neil also holds the enviable position of being the UK Champagne Ambassador for the famous champagne houses of G.H.Mumm and Perrier-Jouët, presenting throughout the UK, bringing the world of these remarkable champagnes and this wonderful region to life. Champagne Vodcast
Away from the world of wine, The Wine Tipster is the UK Ambassador for the very popular S. Pellegrino and Acqua Panna mineral waters, presenting wine and water masterclass sessions.
With his smooth and reassuring tones, Neil is a popular choice for radio, recently working with Will Greenwood on the Brancott Estate Rugby World Cup Radio Campaign, and he has appeared regularly on LBC’s Food Programme, as well as other national and regional stations. The Wine Tipster was recently Master of Ceremonies and Interviewer at The Wines of Portugal International Conference in Oporto, and at Passione Italiana at Chatsworth House. He was also star of the screen throughout the London Underground rail network when his interview of The S.Pellegrino World’s 50th Best Restaurants 2011 Winner René Redzepi from Noma in Copenhagen was broadcast to millions of London commuters, dwellers and tourists.
The Wine Tipster is the wine expert for the recently launched LucebyHotpoint brand, which is a new premium built-in range of kitchen appliances. The Wine Tipster provides top tips on wines to enjoy from the high tech wine cellar included in the LucebyHotpoint range. Check out his tips here
As a horse racing pundit, The Wine Tipster knows all about assessing a horse in the pre-period ring and is a studious follower of form, an expert on each way, win or exacta bets and has appeared on Channel 4 TV’s The Morning Line.
