Terre Del Nobile “Plantino” Syrah 2009, Italy, £7.99. Stockist: Virgin Wines. Medium bodied red made in the region of Lazio; with attractive cherry and berry fruit flavours, soft tannins and a nice kick of acidity.
Little Beauty Pinot Noir 2009, New Zealand, £95.94 6 x 75cl case. Stockist: Little Beauty. Super impressive, limited production Pinot Noir from the Waihopai Valley in Marlborough, which combines complex red and dark fruit flavours, spice and good structure. Bring on the turkey.
